+1 on Snake's post. Tauruses are good, reliable cars. Why do you think they were the darlings of fleet companies? Just look around for a good example, as the values are pretty close for both good and poor operating cars. You may want to stay away from the smaller cars, though, as they all have problems that usually run big money to fix. For example, just about any 7-8 year old Focus can be purchased for a few grand, but will likely need $1000+ of a/c work. Eh, Hal?
