Any substantial nitrous system should be flowed on the fuel side, for proper fuel pressure, prior to running that vehicle, on any day its run. The nitrous is what you set it, unless the soleniod goes bad, but then again typically your engine wont pop from shooting all fuel into it, but dont try that with the nitrous..
