You don't already have a blower on top of weak rods. If Ford would have put the same rods in the Lightning as they did the Cobra's, it wouldn't be as much of a problem. They probably saved themselves a couple of hundred dollars.
Mike, our trucks do not have a 351 block, 330 cu in, 5.4L. The block isn't the problem.
I was NOT calling anyone stupid. I was referring to myself if I spray my motor. In reading my comments, I did not word my thoughts well at all, and that was not how I meant for it to come out. Sorry about that.
