I guess ill wait til the 22nd and find out the scoop, cause if the only basis in the classes are drive to the track on pump gas, or trailer to the track on what ever fuel, then thats easy. I mean me, Kenny, Paul, Harry, and Robert can drive to the track and race on 93 or E85, just requires a little adjustment in timing. I don't really care what the cars are or who ownes them, I think Robert is trying to find out some refined rules, to see where his car fits in. I don't care if he has a friend trailer Trixie so he can drive it in the trailer class, and he drives the black car to run in the street class, as long as he pays his money, I welcome it. I think there has to be more criteria then wether you drive it and what fuel you run. That can be several things, treaded drag radials only, no slicks, tire size restrictions in the street class, ect. In NMRA True Street we have to be D.O.T. legal for our state of residence, and S.C. is easy, due to no emissions checks. All D.O.T. equipment must function, headlights, blinkers, horn, full interior, including front and rear seats. Fiberglass hoods allowed, all other body parts are OEM steel or fiberglass in Corvettes. Full exhaust, turn downs allowed. Wheel tubs prohibited. Rear suspension in stock locations, after market trailing arms allowed, coil overs allowed, 4 links and ladder bars prohibited. Tire sizing, drag radials limited to 325/50 max width, ET street style tires (Looks like slicks with grooves) 10.6" max tread width. Thats some of the rules I have in my NMRA class. Sorry about the rant, just my 2 cents..
