Default GREAT couple days at the range

Well 2 weeks ago I went to a small indoor range with a buddy to shoot. We decided to have a little competition. I decided to shoot my Ruger Blackhawk .357 as I am typically the better shot with it. Single target, Best score of 7 shots. I did very well:

Well yesterday I went back to my normal gun club with my father in law. Decided to shoot my 1911 first. FIRST shot of the day, BULLSEYE!!!

When I shot, at first my FIL nor I actually saw where it hit. He saw it first and said wait, to stop me so we could look at the target. Needless to say I was VERY HAPPY!!!

So I continue my 5 rnd stage...Only see 4 holes when Im done. I'm thinking great, a bullseye and a flyer on the same target. That's crazy. Upon further inspection you can see that the bullseye hole is enlarged on the left side. Sent the 4th of my 5 shot group through the same hole. The bullseye hole.

These two trips are the best I have ever shot. My father in law also shot very very well having many many 10 shot groups with multiple shots in the same hole or touching holes.

If that is 25 yards on the first target that is good shooting.

75 feet? I think not. These were all at 25 feet. I always try to shoot at what is within "defensive distance" Sure, some shots would be farther, but some one would closer to so I try to concentrate on that range. The first target was with the Ruger revolver, the second and third with a Para Ordnance 1911.

1iron used to shoot master class in competitions. 25 yards is nothing to him.
