went to the bank today to see about getting a loan to finance one of the cars ive been looking at...SCBT wont finance a car older than 2009...my gf banks with SAFE FCU out of sumter/cola and they will finance cars 10+ years old but with an APR of 9%....
anywhere around here you guys rec. that I dont have to already bank with. |

If the car you're looking to buy is in state I would go with SCFCU. They can finance an out of state car but it's a pain.

If you have family that is military or DOD, you can get an account with Pentagon Federal. If not I second the State Farm recommendation that Brandon gave.

State farm financed 125% of my trucks value....i was sold lol. But they are good people and easy to deal with.
