Why not paint it "Ford Blue", isn't that how ford motors used to come?

Unfortunately my motor is silver, probably the reason my truck is so slow. Tell Bill he better paint it.

In order for paint to bond to galvanized or zinc coatings (I think aluminum too) you have to "pickle" it .......ie vinnegar ect
just do a search on the net for the subject it will explain better

I used to have to inspect coatings on (galvanized) beams and decking under NACE II requirements we were alwayse required to "pickle" the coating before application of any epoxy or oil baised painting or fireproofing systems

That's the only reason your truck is holding together now, big boy. Black trucks are known to blow, but when the silver truck gets the motor put in,they will SUCK!!!!!!!!!...............to be continued, I'm sure

See you Thursday... Make sure you bring that slow silver truck so that I can beat up on it some more. I may take some more boost off the truck so that your have a fighting chance.
