Default WTB: Non-roller boat trailer

Anyone have a lead on a bunk style boat trailer for a 17ft boat? My current trailer doesn't allow the boat to be far enough forward and causes it to tow like crap with the weight of the motor being so far behind the axle.

I am very limited on adjustment with it as well. Not to mention I don't like the roller style anyhow.

Let me know.

LMAO. I guess I could stack some tires on Zac's car trailer and use that.

Guess I should call this guy and take a look. I could probably scrap my current trailer make up some of the cost.

We could cut the spring perches off and weld them further back on the trailer? Also there is a good selection at the boat ramp any given sunday.... I kid.

LOL! That could work. I would also like to install bunks if I were to do that. I will take a look at the one I found on CL later this week and discuss some options with you at lunch Friday.

The rollers are not adjustable and you can see the boat is right at the end of them. The car with the rollers is not forward adjustable either. This picture doesn't really show how far behind the motor is, but it tows like shit.

If you do put bunks on it (which is super easy to do), use these.

You'll never have to deal with them again.
