Kinda toying the idea of maybe one day in the future of picking up a crossbow. Was curious on good brands and what to look for.

Get the one that Darryl carries! If you had that it would be straight killin time!

I've had 2, and wish I had one of them back. They are fun. Like anything else there are cheap ones and ridiculously expensive ones.
What do you plan on doing with it? hunting or just a toy?

Hunting would be nice. But I do not consider any weapon a toy so to speak. But I would like one that I can have fun with as well.

Grown up toys...lol
I liked the top end Excaliber that I had, it was badass and I shouldn't have sold it. I don't remember the model, but it was around $900 new..... I didn't like the cheap Barnett one I had at all, it was just crap.....but I don't think that it was but around $250 new.....
