Just putting a feeler out there... I'm putting another car payments worth of gas into this thing a month right now so I'm considering selling it and getting something that gets 35mpg again.
Maverick Silver Metallic w/ Onyx Interior 2nd Owner, Purchased from Cars Plus Lenoir in Lenoir, NC car was in their showroom. ~26k miles manual transmission, TR-6060 and 3.70 gear SLP 1 3/4" longtubes w/ cats magnaflow x-pipe and straight pipe replaces secondary cats, factory H connection and mid muffler. OBX-Racing Axleback (magnaflow clones) VCM OverTheRadiator Intake Taylor 10.3mm wires(red) Holden OEM rear Sunshade(roof spoiler) Car is currently on Factory 20x8 and 20x9 camaro wheels(some curb rash from when i purchased the wheels) with 245/35R20 and 275/30R20 Nitto NT555 tires which are the correct G8 heights. Factory GXP wheels can go on the car if desired. They are 19x8 (one wheel has curb rash from original owner) with 245/40R19 Factory Bridgestone RE050A's on one pair and 245/40R19 Michelin Primacy MXM4's on the other. The car had the headers on it when i purchased the car in NC so it has passed NC emissions with them. I'd like to get 33k for the car. There were only ~830 manual transmission G8's made (less than 1900 GXP's in all) and I believe this is one of 3 that were Silver, all black interior and with a sunroof. Lol
If it's any consolation, I'm considering selling the M3 already cause I miss the power and ease of upgradability of an LS engine.

on my trucks, i increased my MPG by getting up earlier, and taking the interstate to work, less stop & go, more steady speeds.
locked in cruise control in middle lane at good speed for best MPG. i was thinking the long tubes & M6 made for "good" MPG on a LSx?

Riding the clutch will kill your MPGs. Maybe you need to go back to an automatic.
