Default MSD Digital 6 vs. Mallory 685

What do you guys think about these? I am looking into getting one of them in order to retard the timing when needed. Any opinions are appreciated!

For what its worth I have a Digital 6 and it has craped out on me once and it is 8 months old. I don't think I would buy another.

We have went through a bunch of MSD boxes in the chevelle including a digital 6. We have a mallory now and havent had any problems with it yet. Plus it was cheaper and has more stuff.
