My truck has a kinda miss to it at a steady slower speed. Up around 70 it goes away. and it idles dead smooth. If you accell at all when it is doing it. It goes away as long as you are speeding up. Some times it doesnt do it at all ,but most of the time it does as long as I am going slow enough. Any ideas? Somebody told me it might be some funky named thing that had something to do with the EGR. Cant remember what he called it. I know its on the driverside of the blower with some vacuum lines and i think some wires going to it.
BTW I fixed the boost gauge. Had a broken fitting that was blocking the line to the gauge. Also the factory boost gauge is on crack. It goes to what would be at least 15 lbs. I got a big aftermaket gauge from somebody that I hooked up just temp. it was showing 12 to 12.75. That seems about right to me. |

Delete it anyway, it will throw a code but there's no adverse effects from it.

I did block the line. I seemed to fix it, but I havent really got to drive it much to make sure. If it does throw a code wont the CEL come on?

For right now Im just leaving the line blocked off. It hasnt thrown a code like that. If I did away with the hardware part of it. It wouldnt throw a code like that would it? Seems you would have to unplug the elect part of it to make it throw a code.
