I understand this has something to do with emissions, but who all is familiar with this code? Was it generally the oxygen sensor or catalytic converter?
The car is my sisters 2007 Jeep Patriot. Thanks. |

Catalytic converter. if the vehicle has under 80k miles do not clear the code and take it to the dealership. If the converter is bad this is covered under the federal emissions warranty.

Thanks. There are 60,000 miles on the Jeep, so that works out. Hopefully Rick Hendrick doesn't give her a hard time.

For some reason it seems they are the only Hendrick dealer around here with a shitty service department (writers / managers, not techs). |

It was the catalytic converter and it was replaced under the warranty. Thanks!
