Yeah so my company got hosed with a rate increase by the state this year and made my home owners go up 28%. That shit dont fly, who do you have? Recommend? I have an agent I work with (that I work with through my work).... but I'll entertain others if my guy cant help me out in the morning.

not state farm... I think it was $3k a year with them, swapped companies, down to $2k a year, IIRC

that's ~$100 a month.

I went from paying 600 for my house a month to 900. All because renters moved out and I moved back into my house.

Mine went up at Statefarm from 1080.00 to 1170.00. Said that was due to the increased price of building materials, to repair my house, if I ever had to or some BS. But I don't think that is too bad, I know people paying alot more. Its all a numbers game. My house is in the County so its a little higher, due to volunteer fire departments. It would be lower in the city due to better fire coverage, but then my taxes would go up. So to me its a wash without all the ordinances..
