**Pics** from Mount St. Helens

Drove down to Mt St Helens today and snapped a few pics. Sorry about the quality I forgot my camera today and had to use my Iphone.

FYI that isnt clouds at the top of the mountain it is smoke. Yes folks this is currently a very active volcano. It really is amazing at how much material was blown of the mountain when you see it in person. The closest pics were probably taken at about 5-7 miles away just to give you a scope of the size.

In the background on the left you can see Mt Adams

If you ever make it to the Big Island, HI, they have some great volcanic activity to check out. I went their after I got married last year and it was pretty cool.

Nice pic!

Ive been to HI but didnt go to the big island. I did get to climb diamond head though and have a few pics of that somewhere.

Yea, my wife and I climbed diamond head, and my wife almost didn't make it!! She was getting passed by little Japanese women carrying kids and I was like look babe, if they can do it, you can!!

she didn't find it as funny as I did.
