WTB 351w stuff

Looking for a 351w timing cover, bolts not needed.

Looking for a 351w Edelbrock Super Vic intake (or comparible intake)

Im also looking for an oil pan, just not sure what style will work yet, so if anyone has one laying around that I can use to check, thatd be nice. And if it works/fits, then ill purchase.

Let me know if anyone has these things laying around....not sure on getting the intake right now, but I need the timing cover and im gonna need to be mocking up everything in the car so ill need a pan.

im not sure on that....I wouldnt think so though because they list them seperate and the 351 stuff is a little more pricy.

Im sure Darryl or someone who knows what theyre talking about could answer that better though.

Im probably gonna end up buying a Moroso or a Hamburger pan

302 pan looks similar but won't work. The rear main cap on a 351 is why it won't work it is alot larger then a 302. You need a 7 quart pan anyhow, because typically most people with performance engines have high volume oil pumps. A high volume oil pump will empty 5 quarts of oil from the pan to the top of the motor at about 4000 rpm, thus starving the bottom end of oil. Keep in mind on small block Ford's, high volume pump=7 quart pan, normal pump=5 quart pan, and you will be ok. On a side note, I have a 7 quart Moroso pan Ill let go for $100.00 for a 351, but you will have to call Herbert for the pick up and its about $58.00 new..

Darryl, its not the same rusted one that Mark showed me is it?

and ive been told to run a stock volume oil pump....idk

Yea its the same pan. If you run a regular oil pump then run a stock 5 quart pan, just don't run a high volume pump with a 5 quart pan..

I would run a high volume oil pump and a 7 quart pan. Do not cheap out on that part.

I don't know either way....But I've heard an argument that says sub 6.5k RPM motors shouldn't run high volume pumps.

Is Brandon's motor spinning high or are you recommending High Volume on any motor?

bearing clearances on the large size go high volume

tight clearances and lower rpm engine, standard is fine

i ran a HV on a stock internal, stock headed 5.0 and no problems.
