Default New Kooks Headers

Hot my new headers in today and they actually fit with minor modifications to them and the car. Now back out to get Powder Coated

Big mistake in my opinion to powdercoat your headers. Either jet coat them of ceramic coat them unless you want them to look like shit soon.

Well that was what I meant to say. I can't afford to do something worthless at this point. Jet hot will be what I will be doing.

they look stainless in the pics- are they not? i wouldn't do anything with them if they are stainless.

Nope. Mild steel. Didn't see any point on buying stainless when I was going to coat them anyway.

Gotcha. Was it cheaper to buy mild steel and then coat them? I love the look of a nice stainless header.

The stainless would have definitely been more expensive. But it still wouldn't have the the ability to keep the heat from under the hood like Jet hot coated headers.

looks good Harry. i thought kooks headers only came in stainless and i have to say that really looks like a stainless header to me. your car looks very close to being done. what else do you need to do yet?
