I am trying to see which tracks stay open and what nights they run TnT. Someone told me Bowman stays open all year in the other thread, and Dorchester will be closed by the time I get back. Which track is hooking the best? I am trying to get some things lined up for when I get back and maybe meet up with some of ya'll seasoned Nitrous guys and get some experience under my belt. Thanks.

I know some people here hate on Dorchester, but ive been to both bowman and dorchester and for some reason i still like dorchester better. Though i believe most of the guys making alot of power like bowman over dorchester. To me dorchester is not as "busy" or crowded feeling as i felt when i was at bowman, but some people would prefer that. Dorchester runs Sunday nights, and sometimes saturdays for events. Even with most of thier events theres always lots of time for T&T.

Dorchester hasnt gotten much better, before there used to be more hate. Id bet alot of people have a slightly different opinion of Chessa now. (Besides Easter sunday lol)

Bowman always hooks for me. I prefer bowman. But we toggle between bowman and Darlington alot.

I go to Dorchester most often. It's a lot closer to me than Bowman. But I have nothing bad to say about Bowman either and have enjoyed going out there.
I also dont have a car fast enough to really have a problem at either though.

I run at both tracks. Dorchester is closer for me as well. I've been at both tracks when one was hooking better than the other. I wish Bowman was a little wider and had more shutdown room, but it is still a good track and they have killer food there. Track prep has been alot better at Dorchester since they changed the chemicals they were using. So pick one or run at both and decide for yourself.

As a truck guy with limited traction, I've always hooked better at bowman. Usually around .15 on the 60 and around .2 difference on the 8th, again chesa<bowman. Bowman is about 20 min further drive for me. My best 60s on average come from Carolina Dragway. This is just my experience.

The one thing you get at the bigger tracks is a 330' time. It is very helpful in doing power management and trying to detect wheel spin when you have no data logging capability. Dorchester and Bowman would be a lot better with those timers. Its just not practicle to travel to Jackson or Darlington all the time. I've gotten 60's just as good here at the local tracks just as I have at the bigger tracks, but sometimes I get a little wheel spin after the 60' which of course results in a slower et.
