Default checking in

Whats up everyone! I know a few people on here already from the track. I saw link to this site and figured I would check it out.

I like to go to the track when I get a chance and play around. I have a stock 99 Z28 with a little nitrous. Its just an old cop car from the auction but it works.

Trykes are gay, but welcome. Give me a call sometime I have an s-10 blazer I need some tuning done to. Maybe we can work something out with a bottle refill or something..

No problem,

I got a pump station here at the shop now, but I'm sure we can still work something out.

Lorenz. Do you have any extra blocks laying around? I am thinking of doing lt or ls based setup in the 96 s-10. 6.0 would be killer. But why only dyno race? lol

I think I may have a block or two laying around. It would be a lot cheaper to buy a complete (pullout) motor for the swap vs building a motor from scratch. LS1's are expensive to rebuild, even with stock parts. Dyno race?

Been there. You also have to worry about a place to get the machine work done. I asked around and never did get a place that people would trust to do the work on a LS1. You can get SBC's done everywhere.

We do all our own machine work, including LS1's. The only thing we can't do is balance, we send them off to get balanced. We can even change the reluctor wheel to convert 58 to 24 tooth or whatever you need.

We have done a lot of engine donversions, and swaps in to many differnt cars and trucks. Building a motor from scratch will nickle and dime you to death vs having a complete pull out. All the little plugs, sensors, brackets will blow through almost any buget really quick. The last motor we did from scratch was close to $7k with trans by the time we got everything brand new. You could get a pull out for $2500 on up. Some people want everything brand new so we offer both.

My 96 s-10 is not a vehicle destined for the race track (air bags, 18's etc etc). If i did a 6.0 it would only be for "dyno racing" and can't see spending that money to wave my e-dick around bragging on HP/TQ numbers at that point.
