Default Stick and Slick at Union county dragway!

Hey guys! Just wanted to invite y'all to our little show. August 24 at Union county dragway. They are having a old school gear jammers race and a bracket race. We were invited to join them on the 24th. We did a stick and slick race a few weeks ago there on a Friday night and it went very well. Got guys from S.C., N.C., and even Kentucky! Basically street cars with manual transmissions, tags, insurance and sticky tires. Max tire size is 28x10.5. No clutches gearboxes! We are also having a auto17 class. This allows for the automatic transmission but you will be running on a 17" radial. Each class will run for there own purse and the winner of each class will grudge race at the end. The stick class purse is starting at 500 and the 25 entry fee will go directly into the purse of your class. Right now the auto class purse is starting at 200 because we are unsure of the amount of cars that will attend for this class. Looks like 25+ cars are coming already for the stick class. Hoping for over 1000 in payout for the stick cars. We would love to see the auto17 class have quite a few cars show up. There is no qualifying for the race. We will draw chips that have matching numbers and set the bracket. This will be a heads up race. Gate fee is 15 then as mentioned 25 for entry and it is 100% payback. Gates open at 1 and racing is set to start at 6. Look forward to seeing some new people in Union on the 24th.

We had a good variety of cars at our last race. Of course your Mustangs and Camaro's, but we had a bad little awd eclipse, a couple of quick 240's and some vette's. Our first winner was a blown c5 Z06 from Kentucky. This was some of the best true street car racing I have seen in a long time! Hope some of guys will join us on the 24th!

Nick finally got some new axles for the Eclipse so he'll be there again. I don't have anything to run a.t.m but I'm trying to round up a few more guys from Columbia to go.

I'll probably show up out there with my Cobra. I'll probably trailer it so it isn't heat soaked after an hour drive though. It's typically NOT a trailer queen but if this is heads up racing then I might need all I can get, lol.

Look forward to having you there! Nothing wrong with trailering one in. We don't expect guys to travel 100 miles with no back up plan.

Only 5 days left till the Stick and Slick! A true street car heads up race! This is the time and place for all the high power true street cars to race other true street cars straight up. We want all the vettes, all the cobra's and any other bad ass street cars that want a chance to heads up race! Our first winner was a c5 vette so don't say an IRS can't drag race. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.

Don't forget about the auto 17 class! Pretty much any thing goes but in this class a big power street car has a chance against a more race oriented car. Must be on a 17 inch drag radial.
