Nitrous is fine until it is all out. Then you have to go out and find some more to get your fix. Before long, you are hopelessly addicted to it and will do most anything to keep getting your fix.

Nope, nitrous is still cheating

All jokes aside, Nitrous is my power adder of choice. Easier for me to use nitrous to run 10's in the 1/8th mile than actually do mods.

I fill my own. Tried the Parks thing. They only fill your bottle to 80% of capacity. I guess they don't to be responsible for over-filling.

Thats because Parks at least a few years ago, didn't have a pump. They freeze your bottle and cryogenically make the transfer, and typically you cannot completely fill a bottle that way. A pump is needed to get the last pound or so in. I would never get nitrous from someone without a pump..

I'm thinking they still don't have a pump. The one time I dropped it off in the morning to fill, they said it would be late afternoon before it would be ready. When I picked it up, the math on the bill equaled 8 lbs. of contents and not 10.

You can get the full 10 lbs. in there using the freezing the bottle method, as that is the way I'm doing it. Actually the first time I filled mine, it was about 3/4 lbs. overcharged according to my refrigerant scale.

My process takes about 3 hours to fill the bottle. It's pretty slow since I'm only using a 1/4' line.

When I was there I sold it for $4/lb all the time, wasn't getting rich or anything by any means. I just found out today nitrous here is $6/lb so it looks like I will be getting two mother bottles again. I about fell over at $6/lb.
