Default Deer pics

Not sure if you guys are in to hunting but I grounded a few deer in the past few days and thought I would post a few pics. If this is upsetting to anyone by all means please delete this post as I don't want to upset anyone.

9-27-10

Killed me a little 8 point while it was pouring down rain.

Got another one tonight

Little 9 pointer

On a 400 acre plot on the outs of Conway. I shot this one before I got to the stand he was on the corn while I was walking in. I shot him pulled him under the stand and sat for 2 more hours. Saw 13 deer total with him laying dead below the stand. lol

i don't mind the pics, but the tongue hanging out kinda weirds me.

a buddy was hunting my Dad's land, and hooking him up with venison, and Dad went CRAZY making deer jerky that year. was awesome!!

Well, shooting a deer on a pile of corn don't seem like much sport or fun to me but to each there own i guess.Hell,i could put a pile of cheeseburgers in the woods and kill the hunter's while they eat.But as long as bi-lo gots meat im good, but let them run out and everything is game...

This made me chuckle a little.

I'm not a big fan of hunting off of corn either (I don't hunt anymore anyway). I came from a state that didn't allow it, or dogs, but you could bait up to opening season (I think). If I had to feed my family, then all bets are off. I'd tie a doe in heat to a tree if I had too, but for sport, I think I would find different way to do it.

Hey, if it's allowed, go for it. Congratulations on the harvest. Help keep those deer off my bumper!

Yeah, but South Carolina also has one of the more dense population of deer, hince why we have the longest deer season in the country. So I cant see it doing any harm really.

-Your on a Roll, reading this is gonna make me go sit tonight. We got a 211 pd 8 point about two weekends ago! It was a massive deer

I know theres alot of deer here and its cool that people hunt.I have no problem with that.It helps keep em out the roads. But you got to admit the hardest part of still hunting on a corn pile is toting the corn in the woods.lol.Dont take much of a hunter to shoot one while eating..It would seem if you did something for sport you would want some sport involved in it.Seems silly to get dressed up in them outfits and go muddin and hang out with dudes all day just to shoot one eating.I actualy look foward to deer season actually.Everyone around here leaves there women unattended and lonely for months, then i go hunting

Lmao! Bow hunting is quite challenging but I must admit hunting a lonely house wife sounds a little more interesting

I prefer bow hunting myself. Silent killing is more my style. With my bow holding arm fresh off the trailer, I can nest a group of 3 arrows within a 5 inch circle at 40 yards. That's plenty accurate enough in these tight woods around here if you pick a decent location for your stand to start with.

Another plus is that if you happen to miss with a bow, the same deer or another deer eventually comes back around. If you miss with a gunshot, you can forget having any luck in that location for a few days.

so are you biased to dog driving too? Way more sport than drag racing.
