What is the purpose of the guy who goes to the line to show the driver where its at? Isnt that what the tree is for? Maybe theres something Im missing here....

it actually helps, i think, one less thing you have to think about in the car, especially with a turbo car you can footbreak without being in the first bulb already or having to bump in 2-3 times

allot of guys will use a spotter to not get in and just get to the beems so they can get on 2 step and bump in when other guy is already staged... mostly its for the groove and to square the car up its funny how many people you see stage crooked cause of a burn out... cant leave the line straight when ur staged like /
