STREETSWEEPER, i just read the rundown on your car. very impressive. have a question, is a LS1 still a LS1 if you put LS6 heads on it? the 6 heads have the big ports right? other than the intake and heads, is there a difference between the 1 and 6 or does that change it to a LS6?

Why should he show up Saturday, your car is broke, so you cannot race anyways.

it is still an LS1- i understand your question, but i believe the base is what makes a motor a motor.

Yes.

The LS6 block shares the same basic block design as the ls1, but has windows cast between the cylinders & bay to bay breathing.

yeah, it's a good price for sure. I have hit the 100k mark on the other car so this one needs to go.

If you count all the money he's made off the car he could just give it to me for free, and he'll still be ahead of the game.

plus....I'd still let him grudge the car, cause I suck at telling lies.

that's cool- just remember that when you drop the big boy motors in, you have to start playing with the big boys- not the street cars.

I think wes was just being nice. He said street cars, he meant slow cars.

well, if it runs on 93, has street tires, and you drive it to the track, you won't have any trouble finding people to put a gap on you no matter what motor you drop in. You can start with me- and i will follow you to the track, on my stock suspension of course.
