It's a shame I'll be home (Morgantown, WV) for Labor Day. I've been wanting to throw the GT500 down the track a couple more times.

i went last time, and those top dragsters are amazing. If you havent ever seen any run before, its definitly cool to see, and last time they were running very consistant times.

Not sure the exact class, but they are the long rails, and they were running mid-high 3s at dorchester... i bet its scary as fuck trying to slow from 190ish to 0 by the end of dorch track.

Default DragFest Events

Actually, the Dragsters use to run in the now defunct IHRA Top Alcohol class. These guys run well over 200 mph in the quater mile. @ Mark, due to a Charity event that the track has been rented out for on that Saturday, we will have to run our last IHRA points race on Labor Day weekend Sunday. For certain, there will be alot of racing going on that!

Default SDRA Bracket Race

No, it's not scheduled for Aug 27. It will be held on Labor Day weekend Sunday. That is the only time we could possibly fit it in and still have a rain date in case it rains.

If i remember right, there was plenty of time in between the rails and other cars running for some passes last time. I think they needed a pretty long cool down period between runs.

We will be having the last of our IHRA points bracket race on sunday, so inside parking may be limited. We will be opening the gates at 3, to get everyone in so they can get set as early as possible. With the doorslammers and dragsters trailers prime parking spaces will full up quick.
