I was up there with my car. had to bring alot of E85 since no one sells any up there. Also hit the track in Knoxville on Saturday and ran a new best. 6.13 @115. We go every year, and this is the first year we made time for the track as well as all the cruising. Worked out great and the weather was pretty good except for Friday.

pretty much sucked in my opinion unless you like diesel trucks smoking everyone out and sitting STILL in traffic for 30 minutes at a time.

This. We went... I wasn't impressed although there were a few cool cars. Run to the sun is exponentially better IMO. This past year there was over 3100 cars pre registered. Literally too many to see in one day plus the quality of cars was a lot better.

Yea that truck was RUSTY. Kinda neat the sc sat on a bracket above the VC. Turbo and sc. Never seen that on a diesel before. And the duramax c10 was cool also. We had a cabin so we parked on ware shoals near the strip and walked. Eff that traffic.

1.50 I had the converter tightened up in anticipation of going from 4.11 to 3.55. I have not swapped gears yet, so the 60 ft is pretty soft but it is deffinitly pulling like a freight train with the tighter converter.

We talked to the owner, really cool set up. he said it was in a magazine also. There were alot of diesels, as always. But there were some cool ones. Thats why we headed out of town on Saturday. To much traffic and sitting still. We got all our cruising in from Tues thru Friday. Well Friday was pretty cold so we went back to the cabin and cracked open some beverages while enjoying the hot tub
