Honestly. You don't want to know.

I know...but figured since this was a street tire only event then it wouldn't really matter. And that regardless it wouldn't hurt the street tire guy's times, which one would think would be the only worry for anyone posting in this thread.. Sounded like people were saying they were going to stuff their car on street tires there, which is why I asked.

And I know I owe LDELEE (sorry, I don't recall your name) an apology for so naively talking bad about the track prep that one time I took the C5Z, and blaming the bad hooking on it. I was on shit street tires and there were plenty of people there doing wheelstands. The problem was me, not the track I'm sure. I just couldn't, and still can't, figure out why Darlington never gave me traction/wheel hop problems but this place did. Doesn't matter though, I was and still am a drag noob.

Awd seems to be welcomed. My question is, are the ones bitching, even if the rules were revolved around them, going to show up? Fuck no you're not. You probably have to GPS yourselves to the track.

We usually have a month or two heads up when we do a street tire race here in the upstate and the prize is a burger king crown... i think last time we had like 12 cars enter. we have a no AWD rule and 200 treadwear rule usually.

I dont think the awd/4wd stuff has been the fastest on a hard tire up here. 6.9's/7.0's generally won our races.

it was originally a 7.7-8.0 race up here. The best final ever was a C4ZR1 w/ lingenfelter stuff done to it vs purple LT1 car on spray. both ran high 7's a number of times

It should be fine. There is no mention of motor only or 2 wheel drive only. Just drive in the gate hard tires only. Got me a line on a fast Subaru now.lol

Why? Anything can happen and espicially on street tires at Dorchester. Look on the bright side, first round won't happen till dark and the dew settles..
