Default Devotion: Jesus is Lifted Up

JESUS IS LIFTED UP

Isaiah 33: 5 - 6 "The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness. 6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure."

The devotion focus is first on the Lord and that HE IS EXALTED! Today, everything in the world is lifted up except Christ. I love it where in Philippians chapter 2, there Paul made it perfectly clear, the HIGH position of Christ; Philippians 2:9 "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:" Today the world is looking to Obama, Putin, the Pope and other country leaders and religious leaders to make our world a better world, but this world will only become better, our lives will only become better when JESUS IS LIFTED UP!

Many times we see religious leaders, Political leaders and Presidents paraded down the streets and people come out by the millions to see them and oh how they cheer for them, some even worshipping them, but one day Paul wrote, "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." OH YES! JESUS IS THE MAN! JESUS IS THE CHRIST! JESUS IS GOD THE SON! I will worship Jesus and NO OTHER!

TODAY, LETÔÇÖS LIFT UP JESUS and place HIM where HE should be in our lives, FIRST!

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.
