It is a California car, brought to Michigan, then to SC and stored when the old lady died. Have all receipts from 68 to 94. 74000 miles on the 289 (running well when removed), and chassis. Newly rebuilt C4 and front disc brakes (brakes need to be flushed).
Needs new driver’s seat cover and kick panels. Fuel sending unit new, but has bad ground. Current engine is a built 351 (.40 over bore, comp cam, Ford Racing roller rockers, air gap manifold, ceramic long tube headers, etc.) . It was built but then sat for some time, and after finally being installed it has a rear main leak. But runs and drives. Original floor pans, only light surface rust. Underbody was undercoated. Front fenders and hood were replaced with aftermarket because it was cheaper than sandblasting them, however all original sheet metal and 289 engine is available. Painted Acapulco Blue (factory Ford 1969 color). Originally Wimbledon White. Asking $12k, planning to purchase new house. Additional pictures available upon request. Located in Summerville, SC near Charleston. Last edited by 1968Mustang; 04-22-2013 at 09:44 AM. Reason: Location |
