Default can i leave out the brake proportioning valve?

and just Tee off the front master cylinder out let to the front brakes,

and Tee off the rear cylinder for the rear brakes?


no auto stores had a proportioning valve, and i dunno if mine is good or not,


this is all guesswork:

i think it had power brakes,
looks like it was converted to manual,
but they used the power proportioning valve (are they different?)


it looks real ghetto


it has front disc & rear drum,
was a three on the tree car.
