Ah, wasn't sure what he had going on for a tank. But if it is to plastic, sure as hell don't put it metal to metal. If you do you will probably beg to have the plastic back.

I know years ago when we ran a1000, and eliminator pumps external we messed up and put it on the frame rail....and holy hot damn I had to put a system in the car just to hear the radio over the pump.
