the ls motor has been around since 1997. The ls motor that bob is running is a truck motor. Same thing tyler and myself are running. I am sure others have ls truck motors also on this board in something besides a fullsize chevy.
The lt1 wasn't a bad motor. Just the aftermarket doesn't support it like the ls motor. All motors have the pros and cons. Just depends on what you want to deal with.

Sho nuffs, but it really didnt exlpode in popularity till the last few years correct? You know, I mean pulling out perfectly good mustang motors and swapping in a LS and all.
