Have you had any problems with tire spin? We have 325/50,s on the chevelle and I swear they hook better than the ET streets that we use to run and they last a whole lot longer.

I have only tried pushing them one time, and they lit up. All my other passes I just rolled into the throttle. I still don't think I've found the sweet spot with them. These tires are 29" tall, but are on a 18" wheel. Not much side wall compared to a 15". I have some 315/60/15s, and Bill went 1.47 60' on those. Seemed like they were hooking as good as the Hoosier slicks. |

Yea. I guess the side wall would make a diff. Congrats on making them work as good as you have. We have thought about switching to the 315,s. I think we have to mutch gear. And I might have found us a converter. Its not the custom built one we were going to get but it should do better than the one we have. Buying it from a freind of ours in greenville. Its in a old gallaxie that runs low 6's at 4200 lbs. He's putting some big ass motor in it, and doesnt think it'll hold up with that converter. |
