go look at the size of the rear end. the ring gear must be TINY to fit in there, the pumpkin is smaller than a soccer ball

most American Heavy Duty trucks use AAM axles now, with a 10.5" rear axle ring gear diameter

if you think about how often the teeth are smashing against each other while pulling a heavy load with tiny gears, that can't be good.

love that donut though....uummmm...makes me wanna watch a SIMPSONS rerun...

If that tundra can pull one shuttle, a diesel (any brand), will pull two of them to the ends of the earth.

:
i think its 11.5 on the duramaxes. prolly like that on dodge too? i know the 6.0L gas 2500 silverados had a 10.5" gear.
buddy of mine bought a tundra brand new in '07. first year for it, and it was a badass truck. i really liked it. it hauled ass and stopped like a mfer. however he went through transmissions like blowing his nose. some bird shit took the paint off, too. lol they bought it back under the lemon law.
not trying to get off topic, sorry. lol

But a 7.3 would be the turtle in the race, wouldn't be first but it'd be there!

What happens when you leave a space shuttle in downtown LA.

I am sure they got the weight right of the orbiter and the fixture. I do however wonder how much stuff has been removed from it.
