Take it for what its worth.
I like my generated numbers better though don't you? but you have to go with the type dyno that our tuners use...that being said...the all wheel mustang dyno is a bitch and keep it the hell away from my truck

Lorentz' dyno did not seem to put out inflated numbers, but a loaded dyno will still be better for wot tuning.

HP, TQ, RPM, E.T., MPH, 60', RT are all worthless numbers; the only thing that matters is that the little light in my lane lights up, and the other guy is looking at my big fat black bumper.

[QUOTE=LXtasy;38237]Wow if showzones dyno reads LOWER than the normal mustang dyno. Wonder what numbers really good have been. Hmmmmm [/QUOT

showzone calls their dyno the heartbreaker. they have told me on more than one occasion that it reads lower that 90 % of the mustang dyno's out there. i don't know it that is true but that is what was said to me.

AFter seeing that monster put the ass whoopin on ever vehicle that got on her at the Dyno day and what I have seen and experienced in the past I would tend to agree with them.

we only lost 5 hp and 5 ft lbs of torque going from lorenz dyno jet to showzone's mustang dyno. only thing that was done different for the all motor pulls was 2 range colder plugs installed and a tight gap on the plugs. That was it. Oh and it being hell hot that day.

I take my car to showzone for tuning because it loads the car. I know a lot of people criticize dynos for having inflated numbers, but there should be equal criticism for shops that are proud of having a dyno that puts out some of the lowest numbers in the country. Showzones dyno is as low as some of the happy dynos are high. Any shop that has a dyno should be most concerned with accuracy, low does not mean accurate. My car made 418hp today at showzone, I'm sure if I drove upstate to JR racing's dyno it would make close to 500. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go to the track to see the real results from my new intake.

I like the way the mustang dyno loads an engine. It gives much more accurate engine data more representative of a street or track run.
