These are the rules from last year. We will be mostly going off the same format.

no cars are required to drive to track
no lexan windows, no boxes. Transbrake is ok
no money to be involved on the list. money races belong in grudge sections

TOP DOG races will be held on the 3rd weekend of the month. rain date/special occasion will be 4th weekend
there will be one post started by me the first of every month that says top dog races. this is where the callouts will be tracked

Callouts wont be a particular person but a spot on the list.
Top Dog will race first and will most likely have to run the 2,3 and 4 car right in a row if they show up. if your car cant go down the track 3 times in a row, its not a street car.

1. Call outs
a. Spots 1-10 can call out 3 spots.
b. Spots 11-20 can call out 4 spots
c. Spots 20+ can call out 5 spots.

2. Racing.
a. Before a racer can win by default, they will have to race the highest place lower than the place they are winning. Although if there is no one available in any of those spots it then can become a default win.
• Example: Spots 1, 4, 5, 6 are in attendance. Spot 2 is called out by spot 5. In order for spot 5 to take spot 2 they will have to race whoever is in spot 4
b. A racer is allowed to race the lowest spot above their current spot as long as no racer in attendance is being by-passed. If they win they take that spot. If they lose, they go 1 spot behing the person they raced.
• Example: Spots 1,4,8,14,26 are in attendance. Spot 26 can elect to call out spot 14. If 26 wins they will be awarded spot 14. If they lose they get spot 15 [/b]
wins/losses will be tracked at the track once a month.
i will be looking for sponsors.
there are a few of us that make money off this site and will be asked to be a sponsor in some way. those of you that work at auto parts stores, see if you can get a gift cert or something small for sponsorship. guys that eat at longhorns every weekend, ask them. if everyone chips in a little, it could become a good payout to the winners.

Top Dog will begin asap in the spring and End December.

Mike, I'm in no matter where we race. Heads up, bracket or whatever. I will put mine in the lights no matter who my opponent is as long as they can stay in their lane. Looking forward to a new year.

Pretty hard to detect if a delay box is being used.

I would hope no one cheats, but we will see. I think some bracket racers like Darryl will know.

Mainly just reaction time. that all it deals with so you can dial your box in to get a perfect reaction

Still shouldn't really matter. Even with a delay box, you have to take your finger off the button at the right time. If racing heads-up, electronics shouldn't make a difference.

but they do to some. when letting off the button on the first yellow will catch somes eyes better than following the yellows down to the green. that the hole point of the delay box and being able to adjust the delay in the box to help the one that are a little slower on reactions. i dont really car just explaining. some are just as good as the box and some aint

You know me, I have to be in. I personally don't care if they run a delay or not, after all its a run what you brung race, and I am coming out the gate regardless. Some people are more consistant with delays, Mark is the same way. Doesn't matter to me either way, I have the same outlook as Chillerman..
