You don't need them NOW. If that car hooks and you spray, Ill bet that you will be glad you have them then.

I wasn't talking shit. If that car hooks and he sprays off the line he really will need them. Sorry if that was above your head.

man what fun would it be if we can't pick on you about the bars. If you start using them it would ruin all our fun, so enough about the non sense of you using the bars; it never happened.

Allright. let me start out by saying. I'm NOT talking shit. Now lets be realistic.
And I know you said that you know you dont really need them. But nun the less. This has to be said. Just because they touch the ground does not mean it was put on the bars. Im sure if I put some on the chevelle I could make them touch the ground. But it damn sure doesnt need any. When I lived in greenville. I had a freind there that had a lt1 camaro. He built the car for some class that was below the 10 1/2 inch tire class. It was a small block. I think it was a 434. had a 9 inch rear. Big time nitrous car. It ran high 5's. Had stock suspension. But it didnt have wheelie bars. And he never needed them. There was another guy with a 92 formula fire bird. They were freinds. The firebird was a little faster. I did see him put on the bumper. About the same suspension set up. He changed it a little and that was it. No more bumper draging.

like i have said already some don't need them, and some people make changes that puts their car on the bumper... here are 2 examples of cars with setups similar to mine...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=4zQ7TeKoGz8

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hd1_ew7J7Wg

like you said, some never need it, and like i just proved, some do. the red camaro didn't lift that run because in the past he did the same thing, lifted and killed the car... and fyi he runs the same bars on his car now. i'm not willing to take the chance till the car is dialed in, i just love running the same times as all the idiots talking trash in here (or in most cases WAY faster) with my car on the EXACT setup as when we turned it over for the first time while still on the lift....

Come on. That red cam has a way bigger cam and he left on the tran brake.
And DAMN. I could have went my whole live with out watching the second one. Was that a video or a music video. If that would have been me. There is no way I would have let the regular video get out. I would have been embarassed that I let out. But noooo he was proud. Had special affects even set it to music. Not Making fun of you. But please dont ask me to watch anything like that.

How are you hooking on the street if your spinning at the track.

well, when i "hook" on the street it is the same as the track (spins but still a 1.5), it feels the exact same and comes up the same, i set my car up for the street not the track.
