I was turning in some old batteries i had and saw 2 16 volt race batteries. Asked how they made it there, and guy said "his buddy" races and they sat too long and were bad. Looked brand new to me! The worker was the guy I was speaking with. Probably a crooked bitch like the thieves...

question on stealing, what is the junkyards responsibility when someone brings in a load of stolen copper?

when I was up there with PewterMiguel,
was a little blue Toyota SUV (rav4?) FULL of "cut" brand new copper pipe, like 1 1/2, new, cut all pretty, guy & his wife was unloading it.

and the junkyard was eating it up.

license plate IDQ-319, maybe IQD-319.

If u have a permit, they dont care. My cousins washer and dryer got stolen out of his garage. He went to the local yard, saw his stuff there, but disnt have serial numbers so he was sol. Asked about the vehicle and they described his neighbors truck, but again, not shit anyone could do. Sucks.

so parents got back from the beach today.... checked the answering machine.... the neighbor to the farm called one day last week and says someone has broken into our barn. cut the lock and pulled some of the stuff out and left it laying there. dads headed up there tomorro to investigate. i am looking for a hunters camera to plant. i think its the new renters doing this shit. they know nobody else is around to see them stealing whatever they want.

went through the whole barn. only thing they took is my grandpa's railroad wrenches. been wanting to get them out of there for over a year now and never did. out of all those car parts and metal stuff, they only took the wrenches. they were looking for antiques i guess.
i wish wish wish wish i could take one of those 2 ft long curved wrenches to the forehead of whoever took them.
