lord have mercy it has been 4 years since this vid.... this was with the cheater plate. i later swapped it to a 2 stage plate. dont remember why it was surging, but it didnt normally do that.

now this one is getting back there..... i dont even think i had freshened up the motor yet in this one. ~140k miles on it, and possibly a 230/236 cam still, dont remember. i ported the heads when i was 21 years old and didnt know anything yet, so im not sure how well they actually worked. cheater plate was jetted for 135 because it was acting up most of the day for some reason.
the big thing about the supra was the posse that was following the car. always had a dozen guys standing around it and several following him up to make a pass. they were giving me the "we are about to cut that guy's doors off" look. GTA vs. Supra |
