Hell Greg might actually come to the dyno day with the car, all I have to do is let him borrow some casters for the jackstands.

That AWD dyno is a heartbreaker.
i dont understand what your saying here? are you saying their mustang dyno is alot more stingy than LS1's is? a dyno is just a tuning tool regardless of the numbers it puts out

Basiclly, Yes I garuntee its more stingy.

Dynojet
The Dynojet chassis dyno is referred to as an inertia-type dynamometer, because large drums provide an inertial load to the drivetrain instead of a friction brake.

Mustang
The Mustang chassis dyno uses an Inertia load as well as an eddycurrent brake load to simulate the "actual" load (combined aerodynamic plus rolling frictional load) that the vehicle would experience when in motion. The internals of the Mustang dyno are composed of an eddy current brake to provide a variable load and an inertial disc to provide a fixed load.

Bottom line, the more power you make, its gonna hurt you all the more. And an AWD mustang is even worse.

Their both just Printer B.S Generators.

honestly, if the mustang Dyno told me i had less then 500 hp at the wheels i wouldnt even consider it accurate at all. i know my engine makes around 700, that is basically the limits of a stock block. at the dyno day at ls1, my car made 540 and Lorenz didnt even want to do another pull because it was on the very lean side so his sounds pretty accurate to me but i dont know either

Nither are accurate to real world, you can find a 1000hp dyno Supra, drag it's butt to the track and barely run 8.0's in the 1/8th.

If you wanna tout dyno numbers and swear you ride has 500 hp, stick to the dynojet. If you want to Load the engine up and do some driving load baised a/f or tuning get on a Mustang dyno.

If you made 540 on a Dynojet, I will pay for your dyno session if you can break 460 on that AWD mustang dyno.

N/P but if you go into it expecting to see numbers, you will be (as the list is already long and distinguished) dissapointed. I ran mine on that mustang dyno twice (it's the only dyno I've ever been on stock and built) I just did it to see the gains stock vs built and I've never been impressed with the numbers, but.......... if you want we can add a twist to that bet......... I'll pay for your dyno on the mustang if you make over 460 (corrected), you reimburse me if I make over 540 (corrected) on that dynojet.

I might need to get some of those, B. There's a little black S-series I need to show up. (At least before it sees "more power")

I think they have changed the correction factor on there dyno so it reads like a dyno jet. I had a truck here last week that dyno'ed at showzone and then came to me and my dynojet was within 2 or 3 hp of theres.
