Ill never take anymore of my stuff to that place. I could care less how many people have taken their stuff there or the "luck" they've had. There is a huge difference in a small "mishap" and someone fucking your entire plans up. And yes Mike was the one working on my stuff.

Sinons won't do anything else for me either. I had a 540ci Chevrolet motor that kept eating main bearings. I had it re-done several times. I later figured out they were externally balancing an internal balanced motor. One of the re-builds caused me to have to re-bore the motor and buy new pistons. That was the most expensive motor I ever owned.

I'd heard a little bit of bad things about simmons but never this bad. glad I havent needed a machine shop yet here in charleston.

so aside from not having lsx torque plates, don's is a good place? any other places?

I noticed a sign on remount road while driving by for a machine shop down a sidestreet by the advance auto. anyone know anything about them?

my pops had a forged eagle crank he sent to simmons with some other stuff to have balanced and they jacked the new crank up by drilling almost all the counter weight off till they realize something was wrong and called to find out that they were balancing it for the wrong style motor. dad had to eat that one

didnt mention that this crank was a $2500 crank.

because 1 customer doesnt mean that much to them when they have 1000's more. their time will come and they will be wondering wtf happened
