used plasti-dip to do the front end of the tahoe this afternoon to see what it would look like color matched... i think i like it! also used it to "tint" the running lights and it worked perfect for that too...

matched up fairly well color wise to the white paint... it's not perfect but for how little is invested in the project, it's pretty damn close

the light isnt nearly as bad as the picture suggests, it's actually pretty even all the way across... and the reason i didnt jump straight into "real" tint is because i wasn't sure if i would like it... this still comes right off if i didnt like it, nite shades doesnt... anyway, i have an extra set of tails/signals for the sole purpose of tinting them whenever i get around to it

I have a sort of on topic question for you. How are they with working on cars in base housing. I'm on the waiting list for base housing up in New York and I don't want to get into a lot of trouble with the community when my car inevitably comes apart.

now that i have some miles on the new combo and things are settling in i decided to see what the new stall converter and headers would do... nothing super special, but not too shabby for a stock 5.3 with long tubes, catted-y, a pypes muffler (LOUD), and a higher stall converter

(can't embed for some reason...)
