I don't know where your car would fit in. I think the rules are still fluid at this point. Is the car still fuel injected like mine?

If you and your car can participate in this without breaking down and blowing up on pump gas then you can be in the street car class.

If not you should be in the extreme class.

Sound good?

I'm putting mine on a trailer. It's 160 miles round trip to Bowman. Extreme street for me.

Robert, I have no issue with you being included.

I guess ill wait til the 22nd and find out the scoop, cause if the only basis in the classes are drive to the track on pump gas, or trailer to the track on what ever fuel, then thats easy. I mean me, Kenny, Paul, Harry, and Robert can drive to the track and race on 93 or E85, just requires a little adjustment in timing. I don't really care what the cars are or who ownes them, I think Robert is trying to find out some refined rules, to see where his car fits in. I don't care if he has a friend trailer Trixie so he can drive it in the trailer class, and he drives the black car to run in the street class, as long as he pays his money, I welcome it. I think there has to be more criteria then wether you drive it and what fuel you run. That can be several things, treaded drag radials only, no slicks, tire size restrictions in the street class, ect. In NMRA True Street we have to be D.O.T. legal for our state of residence, and S.C. is easy, due to no emissions checks. All D.O.T. equipment must function, headlights, blinkers, horn, full interior, including front and rear seats. Fiberglass hoods allowed, all other body parts are OEM steel or fiberglass in Corvettes. Full exhaust, turn downs allowed. Wheel tubs prohibited. Rear suspension in stock locations, after market trailing arms allowed, coil overs allowed, 4 links and ladder bars prohibited. Tire sizing, drag radials limited to 325/50 max width, ET street style tires (Looks like slicks with grooves) 10.6" max tread width. Thats some of the rules I have in my NMRA class. Sorry about the rant, just my 2 cents..

i didnt plan on expanding the rules or really adding more.

2 classes, since we would be working off 2 lists the races will go faster. if you drive out there like Carl or Chris did every race then be in Real Street.

For the more finiky and more likely to twist something into a pretzel cars that come on a trailer than it would be Extreme Street.

It makes no difference to me at all what class anyone chooses to be in. I'm looking for more car count. limiting suspensions, tire size, color carpet will only reduce it
