Default Tow rig class

This topic was brought up last night. I wanted to put it out there to see if there is any interest. Interest was kind of mixed last night. If you want to participate in a tow rig class then post up if we have enough people then we can make it happen.

Only rule:
Must have a car trailer in tow when you come through the gate.

You should also add that you must have carried a car to the track.

You dont have to. Plan on running the Monster for fun, but we're not towing the Mustang there.

I got excited for a minute when I saw "tow rig class"......but, a Lightning is hardly what I'd call a "tow rig". Is's like my buddy Scott says...... "You can tow anything with anything.......for a little while."

Maybe it should be a diesel truck class instead of a tow rig class? I mean hell we once towed a Nova to Dorchester with a 240Z. That don't make a 240 a tow rig, it just makes us idiots lol.

If you tow a car trailer from Charleston to bowman with a 240z then you can run in the tow rig class. Im not making a million rules for these classes. Only a few concrete rules.

Well no use in putting a 8.80 - 9.30 sec. diesel truck that weighs 6800 to 7500 pounds up against a Lightning or a S10 with a LS motor.

I guess I'll race the Stang and tow with the Dodge lol.

I really dont think youll have an issue with having a "ringer" in the mix. I was just joking and so is Lurch Im sure. Just join in, race one time if you dont enjoy yourself then drop out.

I need to quit racing the Dodge honestly. Ive broken 3 input shafts in the last few months (two in one week) and its getting a lil bit old pulling that tranny and transfer case out lol.

I did get the big upgraded shaft last time though so we'll see.
