As far as the Koscheck vs. GSP... I think GSP is a stud and I don't know if Koscheck has anything for him. I think Kos has an edge in the stand-up and sheer aggression, but I think he under estimates GSP's skill. My favorite fight so far was watching Dan Hardy getting his bell rung by Chris(?) Condit! That dude is the real deal! I like Dan Hardy so I was shocked when Condit put the lights out.

I think that Brock will take the win this weekend...........Would love to see Brock and Fedor fight. Fedor beating Brock would stop Dana White from talking smack about him...........too bad Fedor is not in the UFC. Looks like Fedor is going to sign another 5 or 6 fight contract with Strike Force....

ive been scowering the mma boards..
i havnt really gotten into the whole cross mma/fighters or what if battles... but id love to see uria faber spelling... in the ufc i think it would be a step up... i looked into the mir question. and well he has not been sceduled 4 anything anytime soon.he is doing some mma promo stuff with lawenforcment and sit down/shows/talks but no actual fights. i do agree him bulking up hurt him as he was quick and it deffantly made him more stand up which he is but needs to be more agil to be himself. as for the lesnor.. err i want him to loose but abuncho f the regular analysts or guys who evaluate fighters and do big brakedowns of them have lensnor on top.. and thats 90% of them... once it goes to the ground its all lesnor.. id love to see a major upset... i was really hoping shane had it in him.. one of the big talkes was how if the shane/lesnor fight was not a title it would have been called as lesnor was not defending and was getting hit repeatedly with no sign of concious defense.. but again it is a title fight so they make them fight thru. still wish lesnor would have gotten beat. i normally like koschek spelling agn..... but i dont think he has much if anything for gsp. the hmmel/tito fight looks like its stacking up well... im torn.... we need another rampage, evans fight. with rampage rocking out.

Some black on black crime!
I was disappointed in the last Rashaad/Rampage fight. I thought it would be closer. I really enjoyed watching Machida take Rashaad apart. Rashaad is one you like to see get his ass handed to him because he is so arrogant. Just like Tito. Unfortunately, I think Tito will take Hammel apart. I have never been real impressed with Hammel, even though he has been winning.

+1.........Great Thoughts.......I agree.......I thought they should have stopped the Lesner/Carwin fight before the second round started...........Carwin is a Beast...........but he is a one round wonder because of his cardio........IMO.

VIVA LA CAIN!
Videos are still up at MMA-Core.com Cain did good to stay off his back. I knew if he kept it standing he had a good shot. I felt after the Carwin fight that Lesnor's chin was suspect against a good striker. I think this sets up a re-match for Lesnor/Carwin for a shot at the title. I'm glad Tito got his ass kicked and I thought Court McGee looked much better than in his Ultimate Fighter fight.

...after a rough little moment there at the beggining where Lesner had Velasquez pinned standing up next to the cage, Velasquez found seperation and just went to work on Lesner with his much better strikes.
Lesner's inexperienced showed against a tough Velasquez who's got real skill. The shots were shaking Lesner and once Velasquez took him to the ground, poor Brock was left just to cover up and take a pounding. Lesner was completely outclassed tonight. hell ya doggie... the card of upsets... tito lost. lesnor.. major upsets were ap lenty.. on th mma talk forums.

If we see the Machida that fought against Evans, I think Rampage will get taken apart. He is too slow. I would like to see it though.
Thoughts?

its going to be a good fight either way. the last one went a fairly long time 2 rounds iirc and was 2min in till evans got rubber legged. i think it could go either way both can bang on their feet altho i think machida has a bit more patience and can gauge his range better might even be smarter about swinging. machinda has good ground but we havenot seen evens on the ground much when you do tho he is decent(4 the amount of time)
idk id like to see evans get knocked out with the quickeness i just have a odd feeling about this one evans has something to prove idk.... i was really looking forward to fedor vs lesnor but it looks likes that fight is 2+ years out.. fedor signed with strike force and has some type of 3 fight contract.. it may be a 1 year contrack idk id havet o go re look it all up. i think by the time this fight happens if it does lesnor will be prepaired.. lesnor is new and well is only getting better. the mir/lesnor fight may happen again mir had a web show/interview and it was a big part of the interview taked about what he did wrong ect ect. kimbo got fired from ufc.. it was bound to happen but thats why u havn't herd or seen a thing from him. lost to manyfights this years ultimate fighter sux.. it makes me hate kioschec or want to see him get tore appart every fight. oh well.

If Mir fights Lesnor again, he needs to keep it standing up until the later rounds. Take a page out of Cain's playbook and get up as soon as you can if Lesnor takes you down. I think he'll be less overwhelming in later rounds. Kimbo is too slow and has a bad wheel. Plus, I think when he is forced to think too much, he freezes up. Too bad to cuz he seems like a cool guy. I almost feel bad for him. Would have been fun to watch Kos punch the medic out though.

in that case rashad will get rocked. he hasn't fought in a hot minute.. and when he did he had ring rust. when machida/evans fought evans was a major contender traning fighting ect ect.. machinda is still in the top where rashad is not. lesnor if he was a smaller frame and not such a huge presence would be nothing. he dosnt have much to his game minus his physical size and that he can lay on u like a rug. this has been proven a few times. everyone will make a mistake in a fight thats the name of the game.. i just felt bad for kimbo... he was really a stand up guy who was legit and not (randy moss ish) i really figured him to be arrogent and smug.. completely diffrent. what about the faber fight comming up.. man im all about him doing work..

I like BJ Penn. I enjoyed watching him take Diego Sanchez apart. That is someone I can't stand. I think BJ has a good shot against Matt. Matt hasn't looked that good in his last few fights.
I think the last fight that Rampage had was against Evans in England and he got worked all night. He was way to slow for Evans. That's why I think Machida will wear him out. I think this is a step down fight for Machida, but could be a money generator for UFC. What happened to Shogun? is he still champ? I haven't seen him fight since he one the belt.
