Default Some pics of the slicks and skinnies mounted

I got them mounted today. The mechanic was a little reluctant but he mounted them without using any lubricant. They went on nice and easy without any damage to the bead. Hopefully I won't get any slip but if I do I predict it will be very minor and not adversely affect my short times.

Here is what they look like on the truck....

Thanks! I now have a real appreciation for how light these wheels/tires are. After throwing them on I could definitely feel the huge weight difference when I put the stockers back on.

I had a problem with the chevelle turning the tires on the wheels. I started mounting them with beadbreaker. It evaporates. then I would go around the bead on the wheel with a buffer wheel to rough it up a little. I didnt have anymore problems with it and it has got a 1.50 60ft.

I'm gonna see how they do at the track rental on the 10th. If I'm having issues with them then I'll take some kind of action to correct it.

Looks good man!! I know what you mean about the weight difference, mine are noticeable I can only imagine with the heavy lightning wheels/tires.
