My old red car ran the 1/8 at 7.5 @ 92 mph with a 1.50 60' time. I would say your mph is high and your 60' has room for improvement. Tough to say its all in the convertor, could be tires, suspension, or launch RPM's. Just my .02

I think its in the converter or just not enough ass in general. Tried every possible launch rpm from pushing the car through the lights to leaving from a dead idle. The car is dead hooking and bogging the motor so I'm thinking a looser converter would get the car into the power band quicker. If you listen to the car when I leave you'd swear I shot it out past the 60 ft mark. It comes on that hard. Of course I'm sure the rear suspension needs some adjustments as well. Rear-end is sitting kinda crooked in the car just havent had time to fool with it yet. FWIW my red car 60 ft'd about the same as this un on motor with a nitrous converter but went 1.35's on a 150 shot. I guess its tough to have it both ways...

That baby ls motor needs 4000+ stall to get moving good, but if you plan on shooting it keep it where its at and work on other areas, or just plan on swapping converters again when you start spraying.

Got alot of MPH. My blue car runs 7.50's on a 1.50 to 1.53 60' and I only trap 88 to 89 MPH. But your car seem to be running good..

I really need address some things before I put a kit on it. Good thing too cause I cant afford a kit right now. My torque boxes arent welded up yet and Id really like to redo my subframe connectors. Its also gonna need some bigger tires, these 255's probably arent gonna cut it. Add the fact that I highly doubt this is a nitrous converter in the car (no anti balloon plates) and you can see why Im in no hurry to shoot it. I think Im just gonna keep piddling with the all motor setup. If Luckie will let me feel that bigger converter Ill give it a whirl and see if we cant whittle those 60 ft times down.
