Miles dont matter, those 5.4's will last 800,000 miles with the pistons and rings thats in them, their Mahle same as the GT 500's. Its the rods that are the weak link in those motors and its after about 600 to the crank that their on the edge.

If I remember correctly the (I am sure several people on here will know) but most the 03 C-heads had like 4 threads for the spark plugs and the driver side head had a recall (blue stripe on the head meant it was serviced?) For cooling issues. So if you plan to run boost and dont want to blow out your plugs its something to check / fix before they go in.

Might not be a bad deal then. If it has everything to swap. Otherwise I would go with the Randy route. 5.4 that fugger and roll put. Might even be cheaper then the 1800 if you go the junk yard route.

Sorry. If you want a Chevy. Then buy a Chevy. If Chevy don't have the right car to keep their motor in, then don't ruin some other brand with their motor.

I do like the Navigator swap idea tho. There was a carbed navi powered fox on pass time a while back that was badass.
