I had FAR less problems out of my nitroused LT1 than any LS1 car I've ever owned with the exception of my Z06. I sprayed 200hp down its throat off the drop of the clutch on the stock pistons/rods/crank/heads/T56 all day and it took it without blinking.

I can't tell you how many weak @ss LS1 parts I broke just naturally aspirated.

Stock for stock LT's are much stronger in my opinion (able to take far more abuse).

here's the pass i have for josh's car, but i believe on this pass he was running on 7 cylinders due to a plug wire being unhooked. lol!
he can correct me if im wrong, but i was thinking it wound up running 6.41? this was a stock longblock, all it had was rockers and a 503 cam (and nitrous). it even had a stock 10 bolt rearend in it. (lincoln locker'd)

yea, neither of our cars were that heavy, for sure. lol my raceweight was somewhere around 3075-3100ish. josh's car was about the same i believe.

6.83 pass

mine weighed 3200 with me in it. it did go a 6.41 at 108 the last pass when it wiped the trans out. i wish like hell i had put a th400 in it then and hit it with/300 to see how fast i couldve went on stock long block. the car was stupid fast and fun for what it was. o the good days....
