I would yank it and take it to a machine shop to have it built.

what to do with $10,000? Depends on what you want out of it. For a daily driver- turbo's-
For track and SOME daily driving- leave it like it is- improve your fuel system, suspension and rear end, and put an automatic in the car. You will pick up alot with the auto.
